| Item | Porcelain bowties by Arne Eggers at COS HK

by Arne Eggers, Fashion Editor of Tatler HK

"My work 'Made in China' consists of five bow ties made of porcelain using traditional blue and white patterns seen on commonplace rice bowls or vases. By combining a traditional Western garment with a quintessential Chinese choice of material, my work aims to build a bridge between the East and the West – it is taking the bow tie out of its classic fashion context and presents it in as an objet d'art that merges elements of both cultures." - Arne Eggers
