| 10 things You Would Put in a Time Capsule | Tanya Sarne of GHOST

Slow and Steady Wins the Race has always addressed the issue of time by proposing ideas that balance the timely with the timeless. For our blog we asked friends, family and other people we admire to share with us what they would put in a time capsule.

Founded in 1984, GHOST England  is known for comfortable, affordable and flattering designs in a processed viscose weave. The label served mainly during the 90's as a reaction to 80's power dressing. Although Tanya Sarne is no-longer with the label, we admire her work and asked her about the ten things she would put in a time capsule.

10 things You Would Put in a Time Capsule by Tanya Sarne of GHOST and Handwritten

1) My family photo album going back to my great grandfather in the 19th century to the present with my 5 grand-children.

2) A Pathe Pictorial film about a model in the 60's (me) .........hilarious, and a fabulous insight into the 60's.

3) On the Waterfront with Marlon favourite film.

4) A DVD of my best Fashion Shows with Sandra Bernhardt narrating at the Oyster Bar in Grand Central Station in New York.

5)The album Viva Hate by Morrissey because Andrew Paresi, my husband -to-be is playing the drums on the album.

6) Rachmaninoff's Rhapsody on a Theme of Paganini.

7)A Handwritten shirt dress inspired by the shirtdress I did at Ghost.

8) The bias satin dress, a reinvention of the classic Ghost dress.

9) My Vanini hand blown glass vase in a woman's silhouette which inspired my first perfume bottle.

10) My engagement ring with yellow diamonds designed by Ming.

11) My huge book of colours all painted by me.
