Nino, Bonnie, and handmade ricotta gnocchi.

Only in New York can you go from a late afternoon concert of classic Mendelsohn at Alice Tully Hall to a dinner full of surprises at the home of a Cro-Mags band member. The unbelievable food and the even more unbelievable entertainment were provided from behind the kitchen counter by Nino Coniglio. Not only did Nino conjure up some of the best Italian grandma style meatballs and ricotta gnocchi, but he is also part of the US Pizza Team. Words cannot really encapsulate, and the videos below are really only a glimpse. Nino is the real deal. Stop by Nonna's at 105 Clinton Street to see for yourself. Next on the dinner menu: calamari. Can't wait.
