Finale: Parade, coordinated by Les Child
With movement coordinated by Les Child, this special final event is a parade, reprising the complex history of processional group walking as well as organised demonstrations and their association with music. Merging the martial, commercial, artistic and political forms of the parade, the event includes south London-based groups of dancers, musicians, fashion models and student activists. Set within the pathways of the gallery, it also features a garment collaboration with conceptual clothing label Slow and Steady Wins the Race.
